Kitchen updates

Well, we have been in the new home for almost 4 moth already. It is amazing how much work it has been and how much needs to be done. There is always something to finish.
WE have been working in the kitchen for awhile already...almost done...right..not quite. But here are some of the things we have done.
We stripped all cabinets doors, sanded, primed, painted, added trim to add some depth to them, changed all hinges, and added stainless steel knobs. We are still finishing trims around cabinets.
This is how they were.Ugly!

Now they look like this. better!

This was the old counter and sink.

That is much better. We use marble tiles and a granite composite sink.

Chandeliers

A little undecided....I need two chandeliers- one for my breakfast nook and another for my dining. Let's see what you think.
Dining, in bronze finish.

Nook, satin nickel finish, as in all my kitchen, stainless steel :)

Entertainment Center

I am looking for something like this..if you know of a place where they sell this one, leave a comment.

Finished Tile and carpet

By now, all rooms have trim and since we have already moved in boxes and furniture are still lingering around in the wrong places.
Outlets are not in-still working on it. Crown molding not in place yet-soon.
I am also sealing the tile as we speak. You need to go over each grout line with the sealer at least three times-being a large space, I am still not done. Of course after sealing you need to wipe out every tile - yeah time consuming and lots of being on your knees.
We have not done the lanai yet- time!
Bathrooms will be redone in the near future, the same with kitchen, those 2 are huge projects.
We added lights fixtures to the front of the house and entry way, there weren't any.
Our garage is a little clear now - after the move about 3 weeks ago it was a zoo! Now we can walk.
Laundry room needs cabinets, there is none, so that's another project to add to the list.

We added a few window treatments like blinds and working on adding a little touch of something- curtains, scarves, valances.

Lanai- A Retreat

My husband and I spend long hours in our porch. We play with th epuppies and just simply enjoy talking to each other...I know I do.
In our new house, we have a large lanai which I would love to turn into our retreat. I am still looking for ideas so if you find something just send it my way or add a comment here, we would love to hear from you.
So far we know we have a 300 square feet area. We will tile that too, cleaner for the puppies coming in and out of the backyard. I already chosen the color for the walls, still a warm color from Behr.
We do have windows all around with sliders. This is our lanai:

Here are some pictures I found:

I think this will be too formal for my taste...but I can adjust.
So , here is my drawing:
